About Porcini

What is Porcini?

Porcini is a home and life planner for busy households. Tasks, events, a shared calendar, lists, routines and notes live in one app, and you can add things by voice. It works for one person running a household or for a whole family.

What devices does Porcini work on?

iPhone and iPad (App Store), Android phones and tablets (Google Play), and the web at getporcini.com. Your account syncs across all of them. Porcini is available in the US for now.

How much does Porcini cost?

Solo is $5.99 a month or $49.99 a year. Household is $8.99 a month or $69.99 a year and includes up to 6 members. Every new household starts with a 14-day free trial.

How does the free trial work?

You get 14 days free with no limits. You pick Solo or Household when you start, and your plan begins when the trial ends. Cancel any time before then and you won't be charged.

Sharing with your household

Can my whole family use Porcini together?

Yes. On the Household plan you can invite up to 6 members. Everyone sees the household's shared tasks and calendar, each person can be given a permission level (Owner, Admin, Standard or Limited), and private tasks stay visible only to the person who made them.

Does my partner have to use the app?

No. Porcini works on its own for one person running the household. You can text or email a task to someone straight from the app without them needing an account.

Features

Can I add things by voice?

Yes. Tap the microphone and say things like "Remind me to call the dentist" or "Add oat milk to the grocery list", and Porcini puts them where they belong. Longer brain dumps go to Declutter Mode, where you sort them when you have a minute.

Does Porcini have a shared family calendar?

Yes. Vista shows everything across your household in one place, as a Mosaic grouped by person, a month calendar, a list, or a Timeline that shows multi-day projects and trips as bars.

Does Porcini sync with Google Calendar?

Not yet. Nothing lands on your Porcini calendar unless you choose it, and a way to bring in the calendars you already use is being built.

Does Porcini have grocery lists?

Yes. Lists group items into sections such as Produce, Dairy and Bakery, which you can change to suit how you shop. Once you have put an item in a section, Porcini remembers where it goes the next time you add it.

How do tags and search work?

Tag a task or event with the people, places or topics it involves, as many as you like. Search and filters then find everything across tasks, events, notes, contacts and lists, including words inside your notes.

Comparing apps

How is Porcini different from Cozi?

Cozi is a free, ad-supported family calendar and list app with a paid upgrade; Porcini is a paid, ad-free household planner with individual logins, voice capture, and tags and search across everything. See the full, honest comparison: Porcini vs Cozi.

Privacy

Does Porcini show ads or sell my data?

There are no ads in the app and your information is never sold. Voice notes are turned into text and the audio is not kept. The only advertising use is measuring Porcini's own marketing; the Privacy Policy has the details.
